Half of the experience of a stay at a Bed & Breakfast is a great, gourmet breakfast. We serve fresh, local, homemade and healthy food over three courses in a relaxed atmosphere. You can expect fresh flowers, soft background music, and fresh-brewed coffee or tea to greet you and your fellow guests at 9:00 in our dining room.

– Start with a first course of homemade sweet breads, muffins or scones. Whether it’s something like strawberry bread, Muranda cheddar and chive muffins, or pumpkin scones with Wohlschlegel creamy maple syrup, we’ll awaken your palate with something you won’t find at any hotel breakfast bar.

– The fruit course varies seasonally as we strive to use fresh and local produce as much as possible. Sample dishes include NY yogurt parfaits with homemade granola, pears poached in Finger Lakes wines with a dollop of our own sorbet, grilled local peaches, and baked grapefruit with F. Oliver’s ginger-spiked blackberry balsamic vinegar.

– Your entrée course may be oatmeal pumpkin pancakes, a potato, bacon & feta frittata, peach melba-stuffed french toast, huevos rancheros or a new quiche dish always with a homemade crust. A side of our house turkey apple sausage, or maple-glazed bacon or similar will help complete your plate.

The menu alternates from sweet to savory entrees daily and is accompanied by locally-roasted, organic, fair trade coffee from the Dalai Java. We add an array of juice choices, including at least one cold-pressed offering from Red Jacket Orchards here in Ontario County.

You won’t leave the breakfast table hungry! And hopefully you’ll have gotten some extra tips on area dining or recreation from some new friends.

Please let us know if you have any special dietary needs (allergies, gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan, etc.) at your earliest opportunity. Surprises are nice, but not when they make you ill. There is a space on the reservation screen for this purpose, or we’ll ask if you call.

If your travel plans prevent you from joining for breakfast at 9:00, please let the innkeepers know that as well. Perhaps we can provide a light alternative to see you on your way with a healthy start.
